Two floral images were stamped on White Shimmer Cardstock in VersaMark and heat embossed in White provided little wells to watercolor a wash of Blushing Bride ink.
Next, I cut the panel down with my Stampin' Trimmer, leaving a few of the flowers' petals intact and jetting past the cut lines. I then layered the Shimmer White panel to a larger panel of Basic Black Cardstock.
A heat embossed image was duplicated on Basic Black Cardstock. To the fussy cut image, I added dimensionals, which popped up the the contrasting bloom while a bit of glimmer and glossy accents generated even more dimensional shimmer!
The layered floral panel was attached to a Thick Very Vanilla top folding cardbase. Using Blushing Bride Shimmer Paper, I cut down two strips, one slightly thicker than the other and attach them to the sides of the floral panel.
The Basic Black fishtail banner fixed to the lower left side of the card offered a great contrast for the white heat embossed sentiment.
Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies offers a beautiful spray of butterflies and when cut from Blushing Bride Shimmer Paper added an extra array of shimmer to my project.
Sadly, the That's the Tag Stamp Set and the Thinlit Dies in the That's The Tag Bundle will expire with the Occasions Catalog after May 31st. My grief is deep concerning the loss of another fantastic bundle that is leaving the stage before its time! Take a peek at some of my other blog posts in which I continue to rant and rave about some of my other favorite retiring items...Sad days:(
Lastly, the inside was simply stamped with the same floral image as used on the front of the card, but a second generation stamping was used in Blushing Bride and the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
