Kylie Bertucci's Internaitonal Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop

At Home with You Bundle

Welcome to Tattered Shoes Designs and the Top Ten Winners Blog Hop for June's International Highlights featuring more Baby themed inspiration!

How exciting to get the opportunity to join today's Blog Hop with all the other talented and creative Designers!

One challenge for me, however, was to come up with another baby card that could remotely match the popularity of my initial card.

For some of you that may not be much of cause for nervous worry, but for me, it has been a wee bit of an issue. Even with a level of anonymity with this form of social media, for a borderline introvert like me, who is hesitant to receive any praise, the focus can be overwhelming.

To confound my tendency for avoiding the spotlight, an emotional issue within my heart and home has tempered my ability to create. Hence, the lack of my regular blogging as of late.

Enough of the somber stuff and on to some cards...

The Baby Card that brought me to the Top Ten Blog Hop can be seen below...

and without any further ado I will share my not one Baby themed card, but three!

My first card, like my last card, would offer a great baby reveal option. I repeated the basic color scheme with Powder Pink, So Saffron, and Soft Sky. However, I blended the colors to cover the entire card front.

Next, a mix of Embossing Paste and Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter and the use of one of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks created texture and some sparkle and shine. Unfortunately, I was not able to pick up the glimmer from the Stampin' Glitter in my photos.

The At Home With You Bundle created a playful way to reveal the surprise of not only a new baby, but the sex of the precious bundle too!

The door is cut out of So Saffron Cardstock, which is heat embossed in white. The 'Suprise' sign handing from the Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine was an extra piece of So Saffron Blended cardstock cut out with one of the small Layering Oval Framelits. The small welcome mat below the door is stamped in Smoky Slate.

Inside the open door, the pink packages and flower reveal the new surprise...a baby GIRL of course!

I watercolored and fussy cut each of the images from one of my favorite new Birthday Stamp sets called Happiest of Days. The New Baby sign is from the Happy Celebrations Stamp Set, which is stamped in Smoky Slate with a little wood texture created with the Hardwood Background Stamp

The images were heat embossed with White Embossing Powder and watercolored using an Aqua Painter and Classic Stampin' Inks in Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, and So Saffron.

Using the same idea from the above card, I created two Baby Congratulation cards.

I created an ombre effect using Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Melon Mambo Classic Stampin' Pads.

A brick motif backdrop was created by blending Rose Red Ink on top of another one of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks.

The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and the At Home with You Bundle was used along with Early Espresso Ink and Crumb Cake Cardstock to create the door, sign, and the welcome mat.

Again, the New Baby sentiment is from the Happy Celebrations Stamp Set and the the G-I-R-L was created with the Labeler Alphabet Stamp Set. The same variety of ink colors used on the front of the card was used here too.

These cards not only send out a Congrats, but also welcomes the bundle too!

For this card, I blended a combination of Marina Mist, Pacific Point, and Dapper Denim. In hindsight, I think I should have gone with a lighter combination of ink colors due to the lack of difference of the colors displayed. Perhaps, a lighter hand would have done the trick! Anyway, I went with it.

The brick background was blended using Night of Navy and a Pattern Party Decorative Mask.

The same colors appear again on the inside of the card creating the sentiment.

Thank You for stopping by and checking out my new Baby themed cards and supporting Kylie's International Highlights Blog Hop! It was a humbling experience and an honor to participate this month!

Continue to hop to see more inspiration created by the next Designer!
