Retiring! Retiring! Retiring! Help Me Grow

Sad But True, Discontinued In Review, But A Few Gems Are Still Available!

Helping Me Grow

Oh say it is not so... I do not want to lose Helping Me Grow!!! Grab this stunning set before it is too late! This Photopolymer Stamp set has been in my Stampin' Stash for only two months! This was my first project! I am not done working its wonder!

I am literally crying inside...deep sobbing...trying to catch my breath...are you seeing this pathetic picture! NO! NO! NO! we will not let this one go! Oh dread...

This card was a class project in which there was a stepping up example shared with my dear stamping friends.

Watercoloring was completed with the use of Aqua Painters and Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, and Wisteria Wonder Classic Stampin' Pads. Initially, the Whisper White card base was stamped in Versafine Black and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

The same was done on a watercolor panel, but Sahara Sand was used to create a no-lines watercoloring effect. However, my sample does show the lines due to stamping the image three times.  Stamping the outline image only once would create more of a no-lines watercolor look.

Once the painting was finished, a Layering Circles Framelit was used to cut out a large portion of the painted image.  The watercolor image was lined up on top of the black and white image, with the you are amazing sentiment stamped in the lower left corner, and popped up.

The inside is stamped with I AM Much More Me When I'm With You.  Cute, huh?

The stepped up version was completed on a single piece of Whisper White Cardstock, which was framed by Black and Perfect Plum Cardstock, and adhered to a Thick Whisper White top folding Card base. Alternatively, the panel was heat embossed using Black Versafine Ink and Clear Embossing Powder, and the circle die cut was colored with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens then popped up.

In hindsite, I should have used Thick Whisper White or Shimmery White Cardstock as my final image buckled in spots due to the moisure.

I do not have any of the Many Marvelous Markers and used a Y11 Pale Yellow Copic Marker to color around the floral image and the Sunshine sentiment. You are my was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed in White Embossing Powder on Black Cardstock.

Next, a touch of shimmer was added to the entire portion of the colored blossom and die cut sunshine. Lastly, a final coating of Glossy Accents added to anything yellow finished off the card.

Luckily, the Sunshine die cut, part of the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits set, will not be retiring! However, the Sunshine Bundle with a 10% savings will no longer be available in the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog! Instead, the Stamp Set and Thinlits will be sold separatley! Do not hesitate and buy this bundle today and save!
