2019 Stampin' Up! Holiday Open House

Making a Little Holiday Cheer!

One of the items scheduled for my Christmas Open House next week is this fun Hand Cream Shadow Box created by The Paper Pixie.

This little box is perfect for a small gift intended for that special someone in your life!

I created a handful of decorative sleeves with Designer Series Paper (DSP) from last year's Holiday stash. I am finally getting through some of my supply. This set is called Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (147816).

Hang tight, later this week I will feature some of this year's fantastic DSP.

The shadow box is created to hold a tube of lotion from Bath & Body Works.

I have an assortment ready for picking.

A number of selected Stampin' Up! stamps and dies are featured in this collection.

One of the decorative focal images is created with The Stamp Markets 3-D Posie Dies

I created a number of posies that will be featured in a later post and found it much easier to punch out a selection of assorted circle with various Circle Punches.

A sprig of Chrismas Layers (150654/153019) in Garden Green (102584) and embellished with Nuvo Crystal Gloss Red Berry Drops sits on top of a Stitched Whisper White Circle (145372) with a Black Heat Embossed (146956) message from the Cup of Christmas Stamp Set (150491).

The current Perfectly Plaid Bundle (151143) is featured above. A negative image cut from a hand painted Stitched Circle (145372) stripe background serves as a holding place for a sentiment from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set (150464/153006). A bow of Magnolia Lane Ribbon (149485) makes a debut too.

The above shadow box highlights the 2018 HomeTown Greeting Edgelits (144671) in the form of an interactive shaker window.

A Copper Embossed (141636) sentiment form the Itty Bitty Chrismas Stamp Set (150513/153019) adorns the package tied with my favorite Linen Thread (104199).

The color scheme was a cinch as I used the CardStock colors featured in the DSP: Gray Granite, Merry Merlot, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Tranquil Tide (Retired), and Whisper White.

A Wild Rose Label Framlit (149547)offered a perfect size and shape to ground each embellished feature.

Sentiments are from the Itty Bitty Christmas (150513/153019), Itty Bitty Greetings (146667), and Tiny KeepSakes (150460/152390)

Other images come from the Beautiful Boughs Dies (1450661), last years Alpine Sports Thinlits (147916), an even older Thinlit set called Trim Your Stockings (144682), and a 1/2" punched circle (119869) with the small snowflake center.

A couple of Jingle Bells (149598) tied with Linen Thread (104199) offers a festive touch too!

I wanted to create a chalkboard theme as well. A perfect assortment of an odd number of snowflakes cut from the 2018 Thinlits Set Snowfall (149692) created a balanced display.

The sentiment arrives form the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set (150531/153033) and a few Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sequins finishes this humble scene.

I still have one last box to adorn with holiday cheer...a papercrafter's crafting is never done 😁
