Global Design Project GDP#089 Color Challenge

Falling Flowers

Thank You for stopping by and checking out the latest Global Design Project! This week a color challenge offers projects from designers and other papercrafters. Click on the image below to see all card designs.

I created a card with the Falling Flowers Stamp Set and the May Flowers Framelits using the challenge colors in varying degrees. Basic Black, Old Olive, and Calypso Coral Cardstocks, Vellum, Embossing Powder, a Textured Embossing Impressions Folder, and Classic Stampin' Up! Ink Pads provided perfect mediums to create this week's challenge card.

The largest bloom was stamped in Calypso Coral to create a tone on tone image with a layered center embossed with VersaMark Black Ink and Clear Embossing Powder.

The next largest bloom was also stamped in Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' Ink on Calypso Coral Cardstock. In addition, a Fine-Tip Glue pen added a clear layer of adhesive and depth of color.

Vellum was stamped with a Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' Pad and then stamped again with Black VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. A cutout of Very Vanilla provided a base for the colored Vellum.

Old Olive Cardstock, along with VersaMark and Old Olive Classic Ink was used to create all the greenery.

A focal point of Basic Black offered the perfect backdrop for the sentiment and Floral cluster.

Very Vanilla Cardstock with an Oh My Stars Impression Folder created the card base and Thick Vanilla Cardstock provided the vertical Folding Card.
