Happy Father's Day Pop-Up Card

Today, I am featuring a Father's Day Card with a smooshed card front! 

I stamped Smoky Slate and Delightful Dijon, straight from the Classic Stampin' Pads, a few times on a craft sheet. I used my Stampin' Spritzer multiple times to get the ink moving, but took care not to create a big puddle.

I ran one side of my Watercolor Paper through the wet ink and then grabbing the opposite side, repeated the process. 

Using my Heat Tool, I dried the Watercolor Paper completely.  I then smooshed portions of my Watercolor Paper in the remaining wet ink again and again until I reached my desired effect, always drying between each smooshing!

Lastly, with a dry card front on my clean craft sheet, I drizzled clean water onto my project and blotted with a paper towel. This created a bleaching effect and lighter droplets in a few areas.

The finished Watercolor Piece was mounted on Basic Gray Cardstock, which was mounted on a top folding Smoky Slate card base.

The focal image was created using the Layering Circles Framelits with Basic Gray Cardstock, Delightful Dijon Cardstock (popped up with dimensionals) and Vellum.

On top of the Vellum circle, I used a die from the Build It Framelits (no longer available) in Whisper White Cardstock (popped up with dimensionals) and Vellum in which the sentiment was heat embossed using Silver Stampin' Embossing Powder. 

The magic happens, of course, when the card is opened!

Moroccan Designer Series Paper decorates the inside of the Pop-Up Card.  In addition, three pieces of Whisper White offers areas to stamp additional images from the Urban District and Nailed it Bundle Stamp sets, which are mounted to a folded piece of Basic Gray Cardstock.
